John Green is an author who mostly writes realistic fiction romance novels. He's apparently quite good, if you read reviews of his books. According to some he's the Justin Beiber (or however you spell that, sorry to Justin & fans) of books.
However, I've read his books. They aren't bad. However, they really aren't worth the hype. Anyone can write about people making bad decisions (for LOVE). However, maybe because I'm not a girl, these novels fail to hold my attention. Would I read it over some books? Yes. Over such authors as James Patterson? Not now. However, the latter is going with soap opera stories in "Maximum Ride" so I don't know.
Back on topic, I really don't get all the comparison to Mr. Green. He's good but not fantastic. Really, however, that's up to each reader. Don't fail me. *Darth Vader sounds*
